    INOXPA, WINNER OF THE BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS AWARD


    INOXPA has won the Prince Felipe Award for Business Competitiveness and is a finalist in the category of Internationalisation.

    The Prince Filipe Awards for Business Excellence are the awards with which the Government recognises the work and efforts made by the companies on their way towards excellence. The Prince Filipe Awards are the highest accolades granted to the companies, forming the Spanish business tissue, and recognise the efforts in improving their competitiveness, increasing awareness of the Spanish society of the importance of the effective corporate management whatever the activity is.

    This year, there are two extra awards: one Business Competitiveness Award for a Big Business and one for a Small and Medium Business.

    INOXPA has been granted the Prince Felipe Award for Business Competitiveness (SMB’s mode) "for the leadership in the design, manufacture and marketing of equipment and components for the food-processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. The Jury has underlined its effort to develop an outstanding business career thanks to its dedication to R & D that has allowed INOXPA to adapt to the customers’ requirements in the international market”.

    The intention of this year Prince Felipe Awards is to recognise the effort of both Big and Small and Medium Businesses, therefore, there are two awards for each mode, one is for the winner and the other is for the finalist.

    The awarded companies within the 5 modes of the Prince Felipe Awards for Business Excellence are: Award for Internationalisation: Iberdrola SA (INOXPA, finalist); Award for Excellence in Tourism: Sol Melia S.A. (Hotel Urban - Anvi 99 SL, finalist), Award for Information Society: Panda Security (VIRTUAL TOYS, finalist), Award for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy: Urbaser S.A. (Cales de Pachs, finalist); Award for Quality and Industrial Innovation: Iberdrola Ingeniería y Construcción SA (TB - Solutions Advanced Technologies, finalist).

    The Awards, that recognise the winners for its Business Excellence, will be given on February 3, 2010 in a ceremony attended by HRH Prince and Princess of Asturias. Representative trophies (no money reward, as it is an award of honour) are given to the winners and the finalists get accrediting diplomas.
